About Our Tijori & Safe Products

Q: What is a tijori and how is it different from a regular safe?
A: Tijori is the Hindi word for a home safe or strongbox — the same thing by a different name. When people search for a "tijori for home" or "digital tijori," they mean the electronic PIN-access safes we sell. Our digital tijori models have keypad access, an emergency key and a 2-year warranty on the lock.

Q: What sizes of digital tijori do you offer?
A: Our range covers 23L (Saphire 250, Moonstone 23L), 35L (Moonstone 35L), 45L (Moonstone 45L), 50L (Guardian 400), 55L (Century 560) and 100L (Velora Vision). For bulk or commercial orders, contact us at info@royalsafeco.in.

Q: What type of locks do your safes use?
A: Our digital safes use an electronic PIN keypad with an emergency key override, so you can always open the safe even if you forget the PIN or the battery runs out. We also make manual and key-lock safes.

Q: How thick is the steel in your safes?
A: Steel thickness depends on the model. Each product page lists the body and door thickness in its specifications.

Q: Are your safes fire-resistant?
A: Our current home range is not fire-rated. For complete document protection, we recommend pairing a home tijori with a fireproof document bag for original certificates. Fire-resistant models are available for bulk and commercial orders — contact info@royalsafeco.in.

Q: Are your safes BIS certified?
A: Yes. Royalsafeco holds BIS, ISO 9001:2015 and Greenpro certifications.

Ordering & Delivery

Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping is charged on every order, by region: North India ₹249, East and West ₹499, South ₹599. North-East and Andaman are charged as East; Lakshadweep as South. The exact amount is shown at checkout.

Q: How long does delivery take?
A: Standard delivery takes 5–7 business days. Express delivery (3–5 days) is available in major metros — contact us to arrange.

Q: Do you ship to all states in India?
A: Yes, we ship pan-India including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Q: Can I track my order?
A: Yes. You will receive a tracking link via email and SMS once your order is dispatched.

Q: Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
A: COD is available on select pin codes. This option will appear at checkout if available for your address.

Installation

Q: Do your safes come pre-assembled?
A: Yes. Every digital tijori arrives fully assembled and ready to use. Anchor bolts and installation hardware are included in the box.

Q: Can I install the safe myself?
A: Yes — installation is straightforward and instructions are included. See our installation guide.

Q: What tools do I need to anchor the safe?
A: A drill, appropriate wall or floor plugs for your surface type, and the anchor bolts provided. Most installations take under 30 minutes.

Warranty & Support

Q: What is your warranty period?
A: Safes have a 2-year warranty on the lock and locking mechanism (digital, key and password locks) against manufacturing defects. The body, door and hinges are not covered, and the warranty ends if the safe's manual key is lost. Office chairs have a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects; the gas lift is not covered. Q: How do I make a warranty claim?
A: Email us at info@royalsafeco.in with your order number, a description of the issue and photos. Our team will respond within 48 hours.

Q: What if I forget my PIN?
A: Every safe comes with an emergency override key. Keep it somewhere safe and separate from the safe — if the manual key is lost, the warranty on that safe ends. If you need help, contact us at info@royalsafeco.in with proof of purchase.

Q: What if the battery dies?
A: A low-battery warning will show before batteries are fully depleted. Most models also support an external 9V battery connection at the front panel for emergency access, and the emergency key always opens the safe.

Choosing the Right Tijori for Your Home

Q: Which tijori is best for a small bedroom?
A: The Saphire 250 (23L) or Moonstone 23L are our compact home tijori models. Both fit on a standard wardrobe shelf and hold jewellery, cash and passports for a 2–3 person household.

Q: Should I buy a home tijori or use a bank locker?
A: A bank locker costs Rs 1,500–4,000 per year with access limited to banking hours. A home tijori is a one-time purchase with 24x7 access. For most Indian families, a home digital tijori pays for itself within 1–2 years.
